However, Tim is really exceptional, and rather than just doing a good job, he will do a great job to help you sell your home. As first time sellers, my wife and I were complete novices to the game. Tim was incredibly skilled at taking us through the process carefully and patiently. Tim’s advice on preparing our semi for sale was excellent and as it was empty, his recommendation to use Jon Paul as a stylist was perfect. The property ended up looking absolutely gorgeous.
When our semi went on the market we very quickly received several offers that were way above what we initially thought the property would sell for. W were in a complete quandary as to whether to take the money and run or allow the property to go to auction. Tim advised us that as there was so much interest in it we should go to auction rather than take what seemed like a very generous offer.
Unsure of this advice, we asked other agents what they would do. They all told us to listen to the agent as he knows bet how to gauge the market and the interest in the property from the inspections. So we did and took Tim’s advice and went to auction.
We had 18 registered bidders at our auction. This incredible number is a testament to Tim in that he was able to engage so many interested parties through phone calls and extra showings. It took a lot of hard work to get that many people to show up and then register to bid at the auction. I really doubt that many agents could have accomplished this. Tim was truly working with our best interests at heart.
In the end our semi sold for $200,000 over the reserve price. Quite incredible!
